VOLUSIA REGION PARTICIPATED AT ABERDEEN ADULT LIVING RESORT on June 26. Cars were shown outside to the residents and then everyone went in the cool air conditioning for a BBQ dinner and a 50's Dance. This was coordinated by Mary Ann Echelberry.


Monty Carlo visited his grandson up north and delivered his new pedal car won at the Lake Helen Car Show in April 2010.  Sawyer Carlo thanks the Volusia Region A.A.C.A.

VOLUIA REGION PARTICIPATED AT EMORY BENNETT VA NURSING HOME ON MAY 18, 2010.  There were 21 cars from the Volusia Region AAC and Daytona Street Rod Club.  There was a cook out for about 100 people. Also, we gave a donation from the proceeds from the Daytona Street Rod Club.  This was coordinated by Monty Carlo.


VOLUSIA REGION AACA 34th ANNUAL HERITAGE CLASSIC & ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE SHOW IN LAKE HELEN, BLAKE PARK.
This year we had 218 vehicles on the show field and 11 in our for sale car corral.  The weather was outstanding and there were a lot of winners of awards and 10, $ 50 dollar bills handed out to participants.  Thanks to all the club members who worked and made the show possible.  Also a thanks to John Meinelt, show chairman this year for putting it all together.

ORMOND BEACH BIRTHPLACE OF SPEED 2010 CELEBRATION.  This was the last centennial celebration for the Birthplace of Speed.  Vehicles drove down the sandy Ormond Beach about 2 pm.  After the beach driving, the vehicles went to the Rockefeller Gardens Park across from the Casements for a display along with other invited vehicles.

VOLUSIA REGION PICNIC AT CASSIA COMMUNITY CENTER
Feb 7, 2010, Members of the Volusia Region AACA and other local clubs met for a picnic at the Cassia Community Center, which is 10 miles west of the St. John's River Bridge on SR 44 west of DeLand.  Sam & Peggy Musgrove handled the setup and Sam smoked beef and pork for 18 hours prior to lunch time.  After lunch, we talked cars, played croquet and bocci ball.

LUNCH AND LOOP RIDE
January 20, 2010 AACA, Volusia & Titusville Region 49 members and family/friends met for lunch at the River Grille Restaurant in Ormond Beach.  After lunch, even during a rain storm, 12 cars drove the scenic "Loop" and stopped at Fortunato Park for coffee and snacks. 
Coordinators were Mary Ann Echelberry, Volusia Region and Peggy Bosham, Titusville Region.  Snacks and coffee were set up by Volusia Region members Adele and Warren Armstrong.
