TRAACA TOUR TO KOLOMOKI MOUNDS

SEPTEMBER 25, 2004

Story & Pictures by Carol Rainey

Sat. Sept. 25th dawned bright and cool!  Eighteen members gathered at Savannahs in Havana for breakfast.  Among the group were Shirley Moore and her sister, Sharon Palmer who just had to eat with us even if they couldn’t make the trip!  The group consisted of the following: Russ and Nancy Haines, driving their ’29 Chevy; Bobby and Nell Hollingsworth in their ’53 Ford Convertible; Jay and Kathy Mottice cruising along in their ’56 Chevy; Richard and Mable Duncan, in their sexy ’61 T-Bird; Bill and Nancy Thompson, in their sporty ’60 Vette; Dan and Carol Rainey, in the cute little red “31 Model A Roadster, Bill and Judy Brundydge  in their ’90 Miata; and (imagine our delight!) Gene and Jenny Densmore  driving an automobile we were overjoyed to see back on the road, Milford Barker’s ’29 Studebaker.  What a group!
