The Summer Tour
The third tour of 2002 started out on a warm but clear morning as eight of the vehicles gathered at the Sam's Club parking lot and drove up to meet the rest of the group in downtown Havana. Of course, now was the time to get over all the little problems before we really hit the road, so, after a little Model A "crankiness" and one "I almost made it to the gas station", the tour was on it's way to breakfast at the famous Wingate's Lunker Lodge on the banks of Lake Seminole. We were now 13 cars.
We "Old Car Buffs" like our food and very good food it was.
Four cars dropped out and departed back for some packing (Hershey, you know!) and some even had to "work". Well, I guess someone has to do it. Its a shame that the enjoyment of owning these old cars requires having to pay for them!
