The Progressive Dinner

It was a beautiful but warm Saturday evening when we stared out our annual progressive dinner with appetizer on the patio around the pool at the home of Maurice and Jean Hawa. The hot weather resulted in fewer classics being driven this year.  After a while we jumped into our cars and headed for Rick and Diane Ash's home for the main course.  We enjoyed a fine Italian meal on a spacious screened porch over looking a large yard with the classic cars as a backdrop.  Moving from there to Bob Squier's home for dessert and coffee.  Members spilled out onto the pool and garden areas.  For entertainment Alex Fardales played the piano and others joined in a sing-along.  Each venue was special, the food was good, and best of all the company was enjoyable.    Chairman Andy Leavy worked very hard to make this year’s event special.  He was helped by Greg Paiewonsky, Philip Williams, Mel Mann, and Ira Shapiro.  A big thank you to Ernesto Romero for the additional pictures.
