This year’s Memory Lane exhibit comprised 17 classic cars, and 2 classic motorcycles owned by members of the South Florida Region Antique Auto Club of America.  The display ranged from a 1930 Ford Model A truck to a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.  Memory Lane draws a huge crowd at the auto show and it is a joy to see people's faces light up when the recognize an old car from their past, and you can see it in their eyes as they start their own trip down Memory Lane.   This quality display is not possible without the AACA members who were willing to share their cars and put in long hours at the show. The cars are the stars as you will see in photos of the vehicles displayed in Memory Lane ‘08 on the following pages. So look at the pictures and enjoy your own trip down Memory Lane.

BEST OF SHOW

Choosing the Best of Show is always difficult as every car displayed is of such high quality that each one could be the winner.  After carefully looking over each entry by the  Mel Mann, Show Chairman, Ira Shapiro and Bob Squier, Co-chairmen, and Hulon McCraw, AACA National Director of Activities, it was by unanimous  decision  that the 1959 Imperial owned by  Martin Roca  was chosen as the one deserving this top honor.
