This Holiday Party was attended by eighty-eight member and guests the car show and dinner at Fleming - A Taste of Denmark in Pinecrest.  Our members brought 26 their cars out on a stunningly beautiful Florida Sunday afternoon.  Outgoing president Norman Kassoff was the recipient of the Most Valuable Member award for 2008.  One club member, Mel Mann was recognized for his unsung behind-the-scenes work with most of our events and his work in obtaining sponsors for our shows. President Kassoff listed a number of others who helped him during his term.  Many were named multiple times as they helped with our many shows and events. 

This year instead of gifts we gave away gift cards to local retail establishments and restaurants, and during all this of course we carried on one of our club's favorite activities: eating.  The food was very good and the speeches short which added to a festive afternoon.

We started out the meal with a moment of silence for past-president and longtime member Al Roscoe who passed away on the afternoon of December 6, 2008.  He will will be greatly missed.
