Come join us on an Adventure, let's go on a road trip!  We will meet at the Cooperstown Airboat rides located at 22700 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33194. This is just 11 miles West of the Florida Turnpike on US 41/SW 8th Street/Tamiami Trail. I have taken the liberty of making arrangements for breakfast at this location. For those of you who would like to eat breakfast before we set out, we will eat at 8 A.M. and then depart at 9 A.M. sharp .

The route will take us West on Tamiami Trail to the Muscle Car City Museum located at 3811 Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, PH. 941.575.5959.

Once we arrive, you be free to visit the museum at your leisure until closing time at 5:00PM.  Those who choose to stay overnight, we will have a special rate for the attendees at a local hotel.

For Dinner we will go to the Fisherman's Village at 1200 W Retta Esplanade #57A, Punta Gorda, FL. We will caravan back home in the morning from the hotel.

Muscle Car City – Visit one of the largest GM Muscle Car displays in the nation!

Muscle Car City is a 99,000 square foot museum with well over 200 vintage ’50s to early ’70s muscle cars.  Featuring classic cars and hot rods spanning 35 years of makes and models. The collection boasts GM Performance Cars from ’67 – ’70 Z-28 Camaros, ’68 – ’71 396 Camaros, ’64 – ’71 SS Chevelles, ’65 – ’71 SS El Caminos, ’58 – ’67 Big Block Impalas, ’64 – ’71 Pontiac GTOs, ’64 – ’72 Oldsmobile 442s and a huge assortment of Hot Rods and Antique Chevys. Rick has managed to maintain and collect one or more Corvettes of each year from 1954 – 1975 and several of each series from 1975 – 2006.

South Florida Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America

You are cordially invited to display your antique automobile. There will be two displays of antique cars:  

1.  To highlight the “cars of Cuba”, we are presenting a display of pre-1960 vehicles in a special nostalgic display as a tribute to our Cuban community.  We are also seeking any memorabilia items that you may have from the pre-1960 Cuban era.

2.  We are presenting another display of antique cars from 1961 thru 1990.

If you have a vehicle that fits into these categories, please apply.

Club members not showing a car and who wish to volunteer please choose one or more shifts.  Volunteers will be granted free entrance to the car show, but parking will NOT be reimbursed.
