For the 7th year, we presented the Downtown Miami Classic Car Show along historic Flagler Street in the heart of Miami. Under beautiful sunny skies, our vehicles lined the street stretching from the Gusman Olympia Theatre to the original Burdines (now Macy's) building.

This year we had some very special cars and trucks that attended from as far away as Naples/Ft. Myers and Ft. Lauderdale regions of AACA. Please see the photos of the event and a list of winners.

Special thanks to show chairman Tomas Hernandez, who for the 4th year did a great job running this event along with Mel Mann as show coordinator. This show was not possible without the hard work of our club volunteers: Ira Shapiro, Bob Squier, Philip Williams, Alex Fardales, Ernesto Romero, Juan Gonzalez, and Andy Leavy.

This year's event was sponsored by the Downtown Miami Partnership, Goldsmith Family Foundation, South Motors Infiniti, Livingwell Lady Fitness, and Bank United. Many thanks for their support.

Before the day was over, plans for next year's downtown show were already underway, when it will be held in February of 2009.

As webmaster I particularly want to thank Ernesto Romero and Philip Williams for their additional photos. It's always good to see the show through someone else's eye. Enjoy the show; I did.
