Membership in the National AACA is a prerequisite for membership in the Pottstown Region AACA. This region was established in 1952 and has been actively providing many tours, and events throughout the year including once a month dinner meeting and breakfast. Presidents Message January 2010 Here’s wishing everyone a very happy new year. Hope you all have a healthy and happy auto hobby year in 2010. Starting on the second day of the New Year, we had our breakfast and board meeting at the Limerick Diner. We had great attendance and lots of good plans are developing for 2010…..including several great tours to private collections. Watch the newsletter for more details….or better yet come to the meetings and hear it live! Our January 6th meeting, held at Pizza Como, was also well attended. We had Ted Maurer and his wife as our guests, and Ted talked on antique toys and antique auctions. Everyone enjoy Ted’s comments and we learned a lot! The next club meeting will be at the Pizza Como in Pennsburg on February 3rd. Dinner begins at 6 pm. Gail and Pete will provide us with the entertainment. The club breakfast will be February 6th at Michael’s Diner in Douglassville. Check the Events Schedule in the newsletter for times and directions to both of these locations. Also, speedy recovery wishes are sent to Tom Smith, Bob Wood and Gary Schuck. Hope to see you all back with us very soon. See you down the newly paved road….. Bob
