The Pottstown Region, a chapter of the Antique
Automobile Club of America welcomes your interest in our car club. Owning an old car is not a
requirement. For one to two members per household membership is $12 per year, which includes all
issues of the Nuts, Bolts and Sparkplugs Newsletter. Membership in the National AACA is a
prerequisite for membership in the Pottstown Region AACA.
This region was established in 1952 and has been actively providing many tours, and
events throughout the year including once a month dinner meeting and breakfast.
Presidents Message
April 2012
"A Mazda
on its roof goes "wooz wooz" I saw this on the internet and thought it was
cute. As you know, April's meeting was about lessons in cleaning,
polishing and some detailing from The Pollock people. We also had a good
breakfast and a visit to Pollock’s for open house.
Hope you
have been enjoying this fine weather (although we could use some rain).
There have been car shows and tours to attend. Some of you may be
attending and entering your antique car at these events.
May will
bring us our meeting with Ted Maurer hopefully as our guest speaker. Our
Saturday breakfast will be at Per-kins on Lehigh St, Allentown, PA, and
then on to America On Wheels in Allentown. Since the museum doesn't open
until 10am I made reservations for Perkins at 8:30am. However, if you get
there earlier, that's fine too.
See at an event, and glad we have opportunities to enjoy our antique car
hobby.
