A Note from the President

     Thanks everybody, for such a good turnout at our last meeting. We all seem to enjoy the refreshments and socializing part of the evening. Maybe we should do that first. JUST KIDDING!! We did decide to make our May meeting a silent auction. We will have a short meeting first. If you have something you’d like to donate to the club for our auction please bring it to our May meeting. It doesn’t have to be related to automobiles. Might be a good time to clean out a drawer or closet. The cruise-in in Kilmarnock proved to be a big success. Jackie will have an article in next month’s (May) issue  giving you all the details.

     In my article last month, I wished that Alan Merkel would work on his Cadillac. Lo and behold, he did! Catherine was pleased. Ladies, if you want me to put your husband on the spot, let me know. No, I can’t say anything about washing dishes. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 27th and starts at 8:00 p.m. Please try to come and bring a guest. Don’t forget A.A.C.A. Eastern Spring Meet May 11-13 Virginia Beach, VA, sponsored by The Tidewater Region. Also, May 19-20 Old Dominion Meet, Martinsville, VA. I know a few of our members are planning to attend. If you’re interested let one of our officers know and we’ll be glad to get more information for you.
