FUN! The Fall Hootenanny at the Hammock “Fire House” in Henderson, GA Halloween evening 2009 was a memorable event and enjoyed by all in spite of the drizzle forcing us inside. “Elvis” entertained, everyone had too much to eat and each year is more fun than the last one. Where else can you find great friends, great food and great cars at one location?

Greetings from your editor. This is the hardest editorial comment that I have ever done. After 5 full years of attempting to produce an enjoyable newsletter, I feel someone else should have the opportunity to express their input or views. Whoever volunteers to publish the paper after me will have my full support that includes a disc of the last 5 years archive but with my limited knowledge of word publishing. In fact, when I started, everything was a learning curve. The experience that I have been fortunate enough to receive by doing will be with me forever. Yes, it has been frustrating at times because Diane and I seemed to be traveling about the time that the Rebel Running Board needed to be in production so some of it was due to my poor trip planning. During my tenure, many shows, cruise-ins, car displays and other good times passed. Sad as it is, we have lost too many members from death and some because of age restrictions and a few by moving away. We have added some new members during the same period however and they are really appreciated. With the little more free time I will have, I want to recruit new members and hope other members will join me. Overall, I am happy to say that it has been a pleasure serving you and I wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and MERRY CHRISTMAS and may 2010 be the best year ever.
