38th EVANGELINE CHAPTER RALLY AND TOUR
HEADQUARTERS – LaQuinta Inn of Crowley – On I-10 take exit 80 for the hotel. For reservation call 337 783-6500 and let them know you are with Antique Auto Club of America to get the rate of $79 + tax per night. Rooms are either King or 2 double beds for the same price. Each room has a hair dryer, coffeepot, and iron & ironing board. You must make your reservation by May 15th to be sure to get this rate, there after will resume at $99.00. Check in time is 3pm and rooms may or may not be ready before early bird tour. This is a 2 story with elevator. Cancellation policy must be no later than 6pm on May 22nd. Rooms are limited and as an over flow there is a Days Inn next door 337 783-2378.
REGISTRATION: You must pre-register using the form below. To compete in the Rally your car must be an antique or classic car 25 years or older. A registration table will set up in the Hospitality Room from 11am to 1pm and 4 to 6pm. Please pick up your information packet. In event of an emergency or illness and you must cancel, we will give full refund
If you can not have seasoning or some other preference for your meals, please state so on form below.
FRIDAY EARLY TOUR: Come enjoy a few snacks with us from 11am – 12:30pm. We will depart the motel at 1pm for a tour of the Ford Motor Company Building and the Opera House. Both buildings were just completed at the end of 2007.
FRIDAY HOSPITALITY: Hospitality will begin at 6pm. in motel breakfast area and dinner will be at the LSU Ag Center at 7pm. Directions will be in your packet.
SATURDAY MAY 24th 6:00 AM – 10AM Breakfast buffet in banquet room. 7am to 9am will be late Registration.
The Rally route will be along many scenic back roads. Tour
members will leave first this year, between 9 and 9:15am then Pre-War Rally
cars then Post-War Rally cars will then leave the motel. (your
car must be able to travel 45mph or more)
6:00PM Hospitality at the LSU AG Center.
7:00 PM AWARDS BANQUET.
Your choices for the banquet will be: Grilled Chicken Breast or Bar B Que Pork Steak. Both come with rice dressing, baked beans, green salad and bread
SUNDAY MAY 25th 6:00AM-10AM Continental Breakfast in motel breakfast room. Depart at your leisure.
We plan to have separate awards for Pre-War cars if
we have enough participation in the Rally for that class.
