“Making Memories
Do you remember the first car that you
drove? Do you remember the first car
that you bought? Do you remember the
car you had when you got married? Have
you ever noticed that when you are driving your old cars that young boys will
turn inside out to see you from their family cars while passing? We boys cannot
help it: must have been something about cars that we acquired at birth.
Well, we are almost half way thru the
year 2008, and have had tours hosted by CENLA, Contraband, Louisiana Tour
hosted by St. Bernard & Slidell, and the Rally/Tour by Evangeline. How big of snowball did you make in Vidalia?
What gun did you shoot in Lake Charles? What carnival costume did you wear to
the LA Tour Dinner? Did you find everything on your question sheet on the
Evangeline Rally? Think about it, had you made just these tours you would have
had four weekends
of fun with your fellow car enthusiast
in Vidalia, Lake Charles, New Orleans and Crowley Louisiana.
To finish out this year, we still have
tours to Vicksburg, MS with the Baton Rouge Chapter, and to Houma with the
Langiappe Chapter and then to end the year with our Installation/Christmas
Party in Baton Rouge. Those of us who
have made the tours so far this year, really have some found memories. Register
for the upcoming tours and come be with us!
While on the Louisiana Tour, many of you
took the time from us having fun at Rivertown, WWII Museum and Mardi Gras
World, an introduce yourself to me while I manned the drink wagon. It was
greatly appreciated.
Keep the old girls polished and on the
road!
