Genesee Valley
Antique Car
Society Region

At a recent Genesee Valley Antique Car Society Region outing, a group of kids learned about the automobile and what makes it run. The learning activity was at the last stop of a progressive dinner. The club started out in the morning at a member's house for coffee and donuts, then onto another members home for lunch, and finally the last stop was at a 3rd members home for the best stop "dessert."

Dan writes,

We learned how the gas gets into the pistons, then explodes, and makes the parts move all the way down to the wheels which made them turn. We also learned how the radiator cools the engine as well as how the gas ignites by the sparks. We could actually see the sparks jump on each of the spark plugs.
