Crystal Chandler was nominated by both Ohio Region and her home Canton Chapter (Ohio) to be considered for a scholarship.
Crystal has grown up in the Antique Automobile hobby thanks to grandparents RC and Marilyn Hunkins. While she was growing up her grandparents would provide Crystal, her mother and younger sister with opportunities to attend Ohio Region weekend events. She was always present to help when her grandparents hosted Canton Chapter members at a 2"pork chop dinner hosted at their home for club members.
I want to thank you so much for this scholarship award. I know it will help to open doors of great opportunity with college. I was attending the Mount Vernon Nazarene University for the winter semester but I have recently transferred to Central Ohio Technical College, which is a local community college and will be starting there in March. I will be enrolled in the Early Childhood Development course, which is a two-year program, and I hope to get a job at a preschool with the degree I will have obtained. College can become very costly, especially for someone of my age, and I really appreciate the scholarship award that AACA has presented me with and to everyone that has helped make this possible for me. Thanks so much!.
