Pre-War Car Tour   --  October 9, 2005

Vehicles must be 1942 or Older

Pres Helgren and Dick & Joan Murray were our Tour Guides that started at the Lake Forest Train Station and traveled some nice back-roads to Hebron, Illinois for Brunch and back.  Thanks to Pres and Dick and Joan for organizing our 3rd Annual Pre-War Car Tour.  I had a great time riding and snapping pictures in Dud & Carolyn Bankroft's 1915 Model T Depot Hack.

Dick Murray says it's a "Facilities Stop".

And what better Facilities than the Golden Arches.

Then it's on the road again to the object of our Touring: The Buffet!!!

The Food was very good and even included your choice of desserts!  Thank you Dick.  The line up of Pre-War Autos in the parking lot was impressive with Bill & Wilma Morris period dressed standing next to their 1931 Pierce Arrow 5 Passenger Sedan and Shirley Davidson proud of her brand new 1926 Chevy.

We picked up two more passengers, Lee & Nancy Nelson, on our way back. Dud & Carolyn's 1915 Depot Hack hauled us all back to the Train Station with no major problems.

I want to thank Dud & Carolyn for allowing me to be a guest riding in their great looking Model "T".
