CARnival! A day-long celebration of the
motoring hobby for car collectors, weekend
cruisers and people who just like cars.
The CARnival Car Show, which runs from 9
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is the cornerstone
of the festivities, is a cruise-in-style
car show for “anything with wheels,” from
vintage tractors to modern sports and
performance cars. New this year will be a
separate show devoted to “Fords at
Hershey” with a Ford-products area and
special participant awards. Participants
are encouraged to take part in Village
Parade tentatively scheduled to depart the
Museum at 11 a.m. and go for a 6.3-mile
tour around Hershey and return to the
Museum.
Think you’ve seen it all? Think again!
Some very unique vehicles – including the
Hershey’s Kissmobile Cruiser, the Meow Mix
Meow Mobile, the Official 2007 Pocono
Raceway Pace Car and a US Army
high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle
(HMMWV), to name a few – will take part in
the festivities this year.
Antique-car rides, JimBo the Clown and
plenty of mouthwatering food round out the
festivities on the grounds surrounding the
Museum from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. With no
admission fee for the activities taking
place on the grounds, you can bring the
family! The Museum will be open from 9
a.m. to 5 p.m., with normal admission fees
charged.
