THANK YOU!
A huge thank you to everyone who made a
generous donation to the new sign appeal. We have already
collected more than $60,000. The new landscaping is
attracting individuals and bringing people into the AACA
Museum. Thank you to each and every donor!
Night at the Museum was another great success this year
with more than 300 guests enjoying fabulous food and
beverages, while bidding on automotive related items and
experiences and enjoying the fellowship of other
hobbyists!
Proceeds from this event will help toward supporting the
AACA Club, Library and Museum. Thank you to everyone who
attended, bid, sponsored, donated or volunteered to help
with this special night!
Still Time To Donate - Dollars,
Time, Automobiles, Memorabilia and more !
The end of the year is a great time to consider making a donation to
the AACA Museum. You may want to limit what you owe next tax season
as we are approaching the beginning of 2010. For those who itemize
deductions, a gift is deductible on your income tax return in the
year the gift is made. This decreases your out-of-pocket cost of
donating the gift. Generally, the effect of the deduction is that
the higher your income tax bracket, the more you will save in taxes.
If you would like more information about ways you can make a year
end gift, call Myra Toomey at 717-566-7100 x- 116 or via e-mail at
mtoomey@aacamuseum.org.
You can also donate your time as a volunteer here at the Museum. We
have a variety of opportunities--from gallery guides to helping
behind the scenes in the detail shop. Sue Dittmann, our HR and
Volunteer Coordinator is anxious to talk with you at 717-566-7100
x-106 or via e-mail at
sdittmann@aacamuseum.org. Maybe you have an automobile that you
would like to donate as a gift to the Museum? Even if it's not
Museum quality, it can still support the Museum by being sold.
Either way the Museum benefits and you are eligible for a tax
deduction. For more information contact Jeffrey Bliemeister, the
Museum's Curator at 717-566-7100 x-104 or via e-mail at
jeffreybliemeister@aacamuseum.org.
We'll look forward to seeing
you here at the AACA Museum and thank you for your support of the
AACA Family!
