An Extraordinary
Classic LaSalle ... Truck?
On
the show floor of Jeremy and Dani Thomas' Unique Specialty & Classic
Cars in Mankato, Minn., sits a Classic not featured in any LaSalle
catalog or coachbuilder's portfolio. It's a 1933 LaSalle truck, a
creation never offered, let alone imagined, by the automaker. This car,
however, defies any modification crimes, and actually serves as a
wonderful "should have been" model.

Cruising for Ford
Customers
It probably isn't a good idea for today, but back in 1934, a Grand
Rapids, S.D., Ford dealership had a novel way of selling cars; the
salesmen would cruise through town looking for people to drive to work.

Museum to showcase
historic "21 Trailer Find" LS6 Chevelle
The 21 trailers sealed with big-block cars bearing the names
"Yenko," "Sting Ray" and "Super Sport," and housing parts for such cars,
have been emptied, but the rumble from the greatest muscle car find ever
can still be felt.
Now, the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pa., will be highlighting that historic
De Pere, Wis., muscle car find with a new permanent exhibit featuring
one of the cars from that storied collection — a 1970 Chevrolet LS6
Chevelle SS with its original Fathom Blue paint, white stripes and
450-hp/454-cid V-8.

Those
Precious Old Pedal Cars

pedal car was the next best thing. Today, a lot of those same little
kids have grown up to become collectors. Pictures of some very early
pedal cars speaks volumes about why.
