[description]Who Will Keep "Hot" Pony Car?

It's the classic story of a father's love for his graduating daughter and how he accidently gave her a stolen car on the big day.

Thirty-eight years later, the daughter (who is all grown up now) discovers that the cherished gift was stolen, and the question of who owns the car rears its ugly head.

This story in last week's issue of the Old Cars Weekly e-newsletter was viewed by thousands of readers...and we're pleased to announce that we now know whose garage the Mustang will remain parked in.

[description]Only if it's a Model 40 Special Speedster

RM Auctions' 10th annual Automobiles of Amelia Island auction ended with a bang  at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. When it was all said and done, the event exceeded $16.8 million with a 1931 Duesenberg Murphy-bodied convertible topping the sale at $2.64 million.

But it was a Ford Model 40 Special Speedster — custom made for Edsel Ford in 1934 — that was the big attention-getter.

CLICK HERE to see how high the bidding on this unique "Edsel" reached.

[description]Competition Heats up Off Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway

Sprint Cup drivers Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman and World Wrestling Entertainment superstar John Cena will prove their need for speed is not limited to the track or ring when they display their personal rides during the April 3-6 Food Lion AutoFair at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

The spring Food Lion AutoFair annually attracts more than 160,000 visitors. It features more than 50 car club displays; more than 10,000 vendor spaces that offer a plethora of automotive parts and memorabilia; and a collector car auction conducted by Tom Mack. More than 1,500 collectible vehicles of all makes and models will be available for sale in the car corral that rings the 1.5-mile superspeedway.

[description]It Looks Like a 'Vette, but Screams Like a Banshee

Have you ever dreamed of owning a true one-of-a-kind car?

Well here's your chance. The one-of-one 1964 Pontiac Banshee Prototype XP-833 is currently available on eBay through Friday.

According to lore, the Banshee had all the elements of an awesome performer. However, General Motors executives viewed the concept to be too much of a threat to the Corvette and as a result instructed DeLorean to cease additional development

CLICK HERE for your chance to slip behind the wheel of a Banshee.
