Who
Will Keep "Hot" Pony Car?
It's the classic story of a father's love for his graduating
daughter and how he accidently gave her a stolen car on the big day.
Thirty-eight years later, the daughter (who is all grown up now)
discovers that the cherished gift was stolen, and the question of who
owns the car rears its ugly head.
This story in last week's issue of the
Old Cars Weekly
e-newsletter was viewed by thousands of readers...and we're pleased to
announce that we now know whose garage the Mustang will remain parked
in.

Only
if it's a Model 40 Special Speedster
RM Auctions' 10th annual Automobiles of Amelia Island auction ended
with a bang at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. When it was all said and done,
the event exceeded $16.8 million with a 1931 Duesenberg Murphy-bodied
convertible topping the sale at $2.64 million.
But it was a Ford Model 40 Special Speedster — custom made for Edsel
Ford in 1934 — that was the big attention-getter.

reached.

your reading enjoyment only. Please don't bother calling your local auto
dealership to request these innovative new design options for your next

Looks Like a 'Vette, but Screams Like a Banshee
Have you ever dreamed of owning a true one-of-a-kind car?
Well here's your chance. The one-of-one 1964 Pontiac Banshee Prototype
XP-833 is currently available on eBay through Friday.
According to lore, the Banshee had all the elements of an awesome
performer. However, General Motors executives viewed the concept to be
too much of a threat to the Corvette and as a result instructed DeLorean
to cease additional development
