Silver Springs Chapter

       In late 1971 our group held a few informal meetings which led to our Charter

with Antique Automobile Club of America on February 10, 1972. We have had an

Annual Auto Show every year since then.

            The first two years it was a judged show. Then we changed to a non-judged

show in our third year, giving each car that came to the show a Commemorative

Plate and Plaque.

            The Show has grown over the years and now we offer the Plate to the first 300

cars. We had a Curved Dash Olds on our first Plate. This year's Show can be seen

on the 2008 Sandwich Auto Show page.

We enjoy being a Chapter of The Illinois Region and stay very active

for a club with less than twenty members.

Other club functions include: our Spring Dust Off, our Annual Picnic,

Bowling parties, Pizza parties, and our Annual Dinner.

Chapter Meetings are held every third Wednesday of each month
