Jeff & Martha Arnesen's 1951 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe 4 Door Sedan

I was at a car show last summer and a college girl was walking around with a lap top asking people

with older, original cars, if they wanted to register with a new website (www.DriveChicago.com) .

Registration was free so I did. After registering she said that after the site was filled they would choose

50 cars to be displayed at the Chicago Auto Show (2/13/09 through 2/22/09). These cars will be

displayed at the back corners of the show (next to Buick & U.S. Army displays). Hope to see you all there!

Jeff & Martha Arnesen's 1951 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe 4 Door Sedan

My car is a silver anniversary Pontiac (sky mist blue) and loaded with options for its time.

As for the options: I have the original tube radio & it still works, Hydramatic Transmission (4 speed),

turn signals, dash prism for outside sun visor, night vision rear view mirror, outside drivers spotlight

with mirror, back up lights, original style bias tires with wide white walls, full wheel covers, fender skirts,

bumper extensions, lighted hood ornament, flathead straight eight engine displacing 268CI and 116HP.
