On January 15, 1946 our group was chartered and became the first Region of the eleven year old  Antique Automobile Club of America.
In those early years our Region included five states in the mid-west.

Today, our Region's 240 families extend from the suburbs of Chicago to encompass the Northeastern section of Illinois.  Our passion is Touring!!  We have a two night Spring Tour in May every year and a two night Fall Tour in October.  We were happy to have hosted The 2004 National Central Divisional Tour on September 8 - 12  2004, and will host The 2011 National Central Division Fall Meet in June of that year.  Our 59th Annual 2007 Lake Forest Show, held on July 22, 2007, is one of the nations longest running Auto Shows.  Our Membership Meeting on January 13, 2007 kicked off our 61st year promoting the Car Hobby and AACA.  The Swap Meet this year was at Don McCue Chevrolet in St. Charles, IL. on January 13, 2008.

The Illinois Region's seven Chapters alternate running each of these events.  In addition to our Region events, each Chapter has their own meetings each month with their own Car Shows & Tours.  We are a busy group and we like to have a good time, which isn't hard to do when a bunch of car-nuts get together.

Welcome to our Website!  Get to know our Chapters and the events that we enjoy and contact us to have a good time!!

Look into the AACA Museum page.  The AACA Museum is proud to be able to showcase the “Rails to Roads” Train Display again this year!   Check out the news in  Keep Up To Speed, the Museum's Online Newsletter.  Support the Museum with purchases you're already making online at www.ShopforMuseums.com and choose The Antique Auto Museum.  A portion of the sale will go to the Museum with no additional cost to you!

Entries in our Library page take us back in time to June 24, 1950 to Lake Forest and the "Second Annual Spring Meet - Midwest Region AACA". Also, on line is the very first Region Newsletter published in April, 1949.
