On January 15, 1946 our group was chartered and became the first Region of the eleven year old Antique Automobile Club of America. In those early years our Region included five states in the mid-west. Today, our Region's 220 families extend from the suburbs of Chicago to encompass the Northeastern section of Illinois. Our passion is Touring!! We have a three night Spring Tour in May every year and a three night Fall Tour in October. Our Membership Meeting on 1/7/2012 kicked off our 66th year promoting the Car Hobby and AACA. Our Swap Meet was January 15, 2012 at Don McCue Chevrolet in St. Charles, IL. On September 8, 9 and 10, 2011 the Illinois Region was pleased to host The 2011 National Central Division Fall Meet in Oakbrook, Illinois. Click on the title to get more information. Our 65th Annual Vintage Car Show will be held on July 28, 2013 and is one of the nations longest running Auto Shows. The Illinois Region's six Chapters alternate running each of these events. In addition to our Region events, each Chapter has their own meetings each month with their own Car Shows & Tours. We are a busy group and we like to have a good time, which isn't hard to do when a bunch of car-nuts get together. Welcome to our Website! Get to know our Chapters and the events that we enjoy and contact us to have a good time!!
