Dale A. Bray, (SP5, USA)

Drafted - January 1968 - June 1968 - Basic training at Fort Knox, TN, and Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.

June 3, 1968 - June 3, 1969 - Vietnam.  Served in a transportation company as a legal administrator for Headquarters (because I knew what a typewriter was and I had one year of college).  As a legal administrator I traveled all over lower South Vietnam taking testimony for Summary and Courts Martials.  I was promoted to SP5 during this tour.

June 3, 1969 - December, 1969, Assigned to Fort Dix, NJ a served as the G3 COL's driver.

 

Otis Howard Hodnett, Jr. (T/4, USA)

18 June 1945 to 22 November 1946

Proudly served during this period at Fort Knox, KY in the Armor Branch.

Chief Petty Officer Timothy W. Buris, (USN, Ret)

November 1986 to present - served in a variety of aviation electronics related assignments in Jacksonville, FL, NAS Lemore, CA, NAS Oceana, VA, and on the USS Forrestal (CV-59), the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), and the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75).  CPO Buris returned from service aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), and was stationed at the Norfolk Navy Base.  CPO Buris was HVPR's only active duty service member, and recently retired active duty on November 13, 2008.

Rex served at numerous duty stations throughout his career in several important positions.  He served over 9 years in foreign duty assignments, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.  He retired from Langley AFB in 1973.

David Westenberger

Mr. Westenberger served in the Marine Corp from 1960 to 1964.   He attended the Officers Candidate School, taking the Platoon Leaders Class, as well as Air Traffic Control Tower/Radar/GCA instruction.  He then went on to serve with the 1st Marine Brigade - MATCU 62/3, in Kanehoe Bay, Hawaii.
