The August General Membership meeting was again an
outing to the Virginia Marine Science Museum on 9 August, 2004, in
Virginia Beach, VA. Some of the members that have never been
to the museum joined in on this outing to "check it out" and enjoy the
day. And, since it was another one of those "hot/humid"
Virginia days, driving to Virginia Beach without air-conditioning in their
car was a non-option. The thought for the day was "I want my creature comforts",
and they drove down in the
regular family cars. Can't say as I blame them much! If you have not toured the Virginia Marine Science Museum, click here to visit their website and take a "virtual tour". This is another great museum to take the children and grandchildren.
