VIRGINIA FALL CLASSIC CAR SHOW

November 22, 2005

The 3rd Annual Virginia Fall Class Car show was another success this year.  This car show is to benefit the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD).  Here are some of the highlights of the show, and HVPR members took away some awards, as well as donating their time to this worthy event.

The two "Scarecrows" are (l to r) Bill Hauk and Vicki Allen.  The theme of the scarecrows was based on the VPCCC show logo.  Both "crows" spent the weekend in costume giving good will and candy, asking for donations to CHKD.  Thanks to you both for your tireless efforts in this event.

Raffle tent tickets were sold over the past year for the "Tot Rod". And the winner was Greg & Melody Diamontopulos, from HVPR.

Just a few of the many items that were auctioned off for the benefit of CHKD.

The registration tent, headed up by (l to r) Beth Hartel and Cheryl Drenc, kept them "hopping" from 8 until 11 AM. The registration tent was a continuous bevy of activity for most of the day.

Hal Hartel, President of the VPCCC was the "man in charge", could be seen "in two places at once" all day long making sure all "bases" were covered and problems solved. Thanks Hal for your gargantuan effort to put together another successful show.
