You can also obtain an application from any club officer.  That officer can also sponsor your membership into the club, or you may already have another friend in the club who can sponsor you (this is the easy part).

DUES / INITIATION FEE

Current HVPR yearly dues are $12 for a single membership, and $15 for a joint membership.  A one-time initiation fee of $15 is also required.  You will be asked for your AACA member number when applying for HVPR membership.

The HVPR area covers the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Smithfield, and Williamsburg, as well as York County, James City County, Gloucester & Mathews Counties, and all areas encompassed therein.

The HVPR is also an active member of the Virginia Peninsula Car Club Council (VPCCC), an association of local car clubs and car enthusiasts that have joined together on the Virginia Peninsula.  The purpose of the council is to provide better communications between area car clubs, monitor local, state, and federally generated legislation that could effect the car hobby, and provide council members with the information necessary to influence such legislation.

In addition to being members of the HVPR, many of our members belong to other local or national clubs that focus on specific vehicles (e.g. Model A Fords, Cadillacs, Packards, Corvettes, etc.)

Remember, it is not a requirement to own an old car, truck, fire engine, or any other antique vehicle to join our club.  We only ask that you possess a keen interest in the old car hobby!
