HVPR's Christmas Party - 2004

HVPR's festive Christmas party was held (yes, once again due to popular demand) at the United States Coast Guard Training Center's "Port of York" club, overlooking the scenic York River from Yorktown.

At the podium is HVPR's President Dick Tarr, starting off the evening's activities.

Forty-eight members and guests enjoyed the event, many dressed in their holiday finery.

The "Port of York" Christmas tree is shown above with the gifts donated by HVPR members.  This is the second year these gifts were given to the Salvation Army program for needy children.  Thank you, members, for your generous contribution to their effort of making so many children happy on Christmas.   The Salvation Army is grateful for our efforts in helping them.
