ROAD REPORT FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings fellow Hiawatha Members, Wasn't it a Great Fall Foliage our chapter went on a couple weeks ago. I want to Thank Jerry and Virginia and Johnny and Sheila for planning such an Outstanding Trip. I never knew there were so many things to see in northeastern Wisconsin. I had never seen so many old snowmobiles. A Big Thank You to all Four of you for keeping us so busy for 3 days. Thanks.

I’m sorry that the weather didn’t turn out so well on September 18 for the Ice Cream Social. I believe there were 5 or 6 members attended. Thanks to you that did.

As many of you know, Jan was to ill to go on our bus trip but when I returned she seemed to be much better. On Saturday, after we returned from the bus trip Jan and I went to Woodbury, in the Twin Cities for our Grandsons Birthday. We came home the same evening. On Sunday, Jan was not feeling well and on Wednesday she made an appointment to see her Doctor. I was called to take her to ER,, she was in the Hospital till Tuesday. She is now slowly mending and returning slowly to normal. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and calls. Thank You!!

I hope we get a great turn out for our last tour of the season when we go to Winona. I know it’s a Friday and many of you work, but the factory is only open for tours during the week.

Summer went by all to fast, keep those engines running for one more tour.

Don
