HARFORD REGION
2003 ANNUAL DINNER
Harford Region's Annual Dinner was held at the Bayou Restaurant in Havre de Grace,
Maryland on November 9, 2003. The evening had a patriotic theme to celebrate
Veterans Day. A cash bar and social hour began at 5:00pm as Harford Region members
and guests began to arrive. A total of 61 members and guests attended the evening.
Everyone was seated at 6:00pm and Bill Sill welcomed the attendees, at which time
all region members who are service veterans were recongnized. Gene Poole then gave
an invocation before the group enjoyed a dlicious buffet.
Following dinner, Bill Sill introduced the Stardust Memories. Stardust memories is a
cappella quartet singing the tunes of the '40s and '50s. Wearing vintage 1940's
costumes, the quartet entertained the group with songs from the World War II era.
During the show, the quartet invited Harford Region member Kathleen Smith to join
them for a song.
The entertainment was followed by the presentation of the Harold Clemmens Award. The
recipient of the award is voted by the Harford Region members. Kathleen Smith
presented the award to Al Burns for his contributions to the region throughout the past
year.
Janet and Bill Sill made presentations to the current region officers, who were then
reinstalled for the coming year by Gene Poole. The region officers for 2004 include:

Region President Stonesifer gave remarks on the past year and the future of Harford
Region. At the end of the evening, table center pieces and patriotic door prizes
were given away. A big Thank You goes out to the Annual Dinner committee for a very
enjoyable and entertaining evening. The Annual Dinner committee included Chaircouple
Janet and Bill Sill, Eva Eakes, Janet Prechtel, Patti Stonesifer, Connie Harrell, Alice
Oberender, and Joyce Wheeler.
