New Information: December 1, 2008

*----------------------------------------------------------

Willy reminds us: Don't forget the Granite Region's Annual Winter meeting and Christmas party on Sunday, December 14th starting at 3:30PM at the Common Man restaurant in Concord. Make your reservations ($20/person) with Jack Griffiths.

*----------------------------------------------------------

And--do not forget to vote for 6 AACA directors before the December 15th deadline--remembering of course that Jack Armstrong is in the running and that members and spouses each get a vote! 'Nuff said.

*----------------------------------------------------------

Carol Hoagland's latest masterpiece of a newsletter-- the Fall 2008 version, is available here in high resolution to print or low resolution to read on screen. Great photos from the summer's events -- in color! Once again, terrific job, Carol!

It is perhaps timely to remind all Granite Region members to vote for AACA directors--and also to remind all that Jack Armstrong is on the slate. You know the right thing to do.

Carol's Summer 2008 newsletter contained specific information about the long-rumored NH inspection exemption for 1948 and older vehicles that have not been modified. As Carol recommends, it would be wise to carry a copy of the statute on each eligible, uninspected vehicle. Click here for a printable copy of the statute summary.

Ken Sommers has sent information on an exciting new venture our club has begun with the hope of assisting young folks interested in entering an automotive career related to our hobby. Read more about this in the Club Projects section.

Congratulations to Carol Hoagland, Editor of the Granite Banner!

At the 2008 Annual AACA meeting, Carol again received the Award of Excellence for the terrific job she has done with the Granite Banner. This is a great honor and we are all very proud of her--and very pleased to have such a great newsletter!

Thanks again, Carol! And Well Done!!!

Check the Calendar for the remaining year's activities.

A new web project is to upgrade the "Links" connection to have a set of useful web links for members to use to access specific marque information and other resources. Please send any web links you think would be useful to the members to the webmaster for inclusion here. Thanks!

If you have photos or news that you'd like to share with other club members, please send the information to Andy Daubenspeck for inclusion on the club website.
