at the October meeting.
Dick Cashdollar, DSR member and
currently the Senior Advisor to the Major Cities Police Chiefs' Association,
briefed club members on the many aspects of Homeland Security.

June 6th, 2009 at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.
All proceeds benefited the Afghanistan/Iraq War Memorial.

the Battleship Commission for a truly inspiring event.

Some of us were delayed on the ride home, but we were not
dismayed. This is part of the funeral procession for slain Mobile police
office Brandon Sigler.

DSR ADDS TO SOCK HOP
NOSTALGIA
May 7th was the date for a sock-hop
fund raiser for the Beverly M. Burton Scholarship Trust held at the Country
Club of Mobile. Mrs. Burton was very active in supporting the activities of
the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Alabama. The trust is a supporting
organization of the Clubs. DSR members were happy to provide some vehicles
to help take the participants back in time.
