Raymond Nesbit White

The Chesapeake Region has lost its last remaining active Charter Member.  Ray White passed away April 30, 2008 at the age of 95.  Born in Kennesaw, GA, Ray White retired from Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Company after 32 years of service.   Ray had a life-long interest in antique cars and was involved in the hobby well before the start of the Chesapeake Region in 1955.   His cars have been sold, but they were: 1916 Dodge Brothers, 1922 Cadillac, and 1925 Maxwell.  Ray was honored at the 2007 Club Banquet, receiving an award for 50 years as an AACA member. 

Ray White is survived by his daughter Greta Hittle and her husband, Bruce Hittle; granddaughter, Heather Erika Rappold and her husband, James Rappold; and twin great-grandchildren.
