Raymond Vanderlinde
Sadly, we must report that Raymond E. Vanderlinde passed away on
July 14, 2007 with family at his side. A Chesapeake Region member
since 1994, Ray was an antique car enthusiast, owning a 1981
Chrysler Cordoba and 1964 Ford Falcon Futura. Earlier, Ray owned
a 1967 Mustang and a 1954 Buick Skylark, both convertibles.
He wrote interesting articles about these cars. The stories can be
found on the Club’s website. Ray had a long and distinguished
career in medical education and clinical laboratory management,
retiring from Hahnemann University School of Medicine as a
Professor of Pathology. Our sympathies go to his wife Ruth and
the rest of Ray’s family. He will be missed by all of us.
