Hi, my name is Ashley Whitson, and I teach a Pre-K class at La Petite Academy in fairfax station, VA. On wednesday March 30th, we are having our annual 50's sock hop, All of the money that me make off of the event is being donated to the Make a Wish foundation. I am inviting you to have a car show in our parking lot, whether its one car that you can spare, or a full blown car show, we would greatly appreciate it. It would be a great way to draw the public into our event and your club, and an awesome way to brighten up our fifties celebration. Please contact me at 703-273-6826, or ashleyrose2@yahoo.com if you would like to participate. Thanks so much, Ashley Whitson

Great site!
just great
Joke of the day for you:
A Police officer had been told by his sergeant that he was to bring up his quota of speeding fines, he decided to park and use his radar gun flashing the cars as they drove by on a busy street. Well one hour went by then two and no one was speeding. After about six hours a lone car came speeding by at well over the limit, the officer turned on his lights and siren and pulled the car over. As the officer approached the drivers window he remarked "I've been waiting for you all day" and the driver replied, "Well I got here as fast as I could"

What's up? Really nice site! Enjoyed it! C U -Lisa!
Hey wazzup guys! :-) Nice site, really interesting!
Your site is very impressive. One small suggestion would be to have a "contact us about your car"for people like me. I have an 1966 Meteor Rideau, 4 door, 289 cu in motor with 84,000 original miles on the original engine. The car is all original, and in highway driving condition, but does need restoration to its "like new" status - some body work to remove bumps, dents, etc., seat restoration etc. and other normal requirements to bring a used car to mint condition. I was told that there were only 19,000 of these made. Would you be able to tell me if this is so, and what the ballpark value of this car would be? Thank you for listening, and hopefully, helping Regards Darren Smith Alberta Canada smithmiell@elkvalley.net

Hi all, Just checked your web site for info on the Delaplane deal tomorrow. Was pleasantly surprised to see such a fine web page. Good job. Having a lot of trouble just getting our newsletter out on time. Have a good holiday. Wayne Burgess, Editor-Northern Neck Region
Hello enjoyed pics soooooo much! I was active in A.A.C.A. in the 80s...one of the first women National Judges @ Heshey. They really weren't sure what to do with me then. I can go to shows now and they don't even realise I was a pioneer then...the women take it as always being. They don't realise I opened the door, so to speak.I blend into the crowd there. My car was a NAtional ...'41 Plymouth..in "Automobile Quartely"...and on a poster. I really enjoyed the shows of the 80's. I still enjoy seeing shows in the area. JACQUIE JENKINS......'41 4DS..Plymouth...SPECIAL DELUX....... FRONT ROYAL, VA. .....formerly W.V.
<the WebGuy personally wishes that he had your email address to follow up and say thanks! You are sooo close to us, it would be wonderful to have you attend a meeting or picnic & share your insight. Any chance you could come to the Delaplane Strawberry Festival on May 24th? See our Events section for detail. MHJ>

Bill Peugh says hello from Colorado! I'll be in touch!
My mother is a resident of The Virginian in long-term care. When you had the car show there in May, she talked about it for days. This week I found pictures of that show on your web page, and my mother was in one of them. I printed the picture and took to show her. She is very excited to think that she is an "internet celebrity"! Last weekend she was recovering from surgery, but couldn't miss the show. Thank you and your members so much for remembering the residents there. If you ever wonder, they absolutely love the car shows! We look forward to seeing you there again soon.
Hey AACA, I enjoyed your site and am planning on bringing my VW pick-up to your Manassas show. I thought you might like to add this link to your animated graphics page. It's an old ad for the 1959 VW micro-bus - complete with Volkswagen motor sound effects! It's at: www.thesamba.com/vw/extras/ronmacg/micro1.htm See you on the 21st, John
I am editor of the Early Ford V8 Club National Capital Region "Headliner" newsletter. I tried to contact Harry Gibson at chevybird@ifriendly.com but it was "undeliverable." I mailed a copy of our latest newsletter to Mr. Gage. I would like to exchange newsletters and begin recieving your "Clutch Chatter." Also, our group will be having our annual car show on July 14 in Brookeville Md (near Olney). We would appreciate it of you would let your club members know about our show. Thank you, John Grimm, Sr. jgrimm@cms.hhs.gov
