Another fun day at the Strawberry
Festival!
This
is Mount Bleak, one of the staging sites for
Colonel John Singleton
Mosby's Rangers, the centerpiece of
Sky Meadow
State Park, Delaplane, VA.
|

Though it did not rain, the skies
were ominous, the fields saturated from weeks of heavy rain, and
the temperatures quite cool. Attendance was down, but those that
came had a blast!
|
|

At 8:30AM, Bull Run members began
to roll-in! GWC Model A friends and others joined in shortly
thereafter.
|

...
Happily, the car display area was in decent shape! |
|

The Blankenship's '32 Pontiac is
always an attention getter! One Festival visitor would not leave
until he tried to talk Eck into selling this beauty to him!
|

Rock 'n Roll! Norris and his
Monterey; make that engine roar man! |
|

Bull Run Region members congregate
for the beginning of the picnic...
|

... while the sun was hiding
behind the clouds a bit. Later, the sun peaked out and the temps
jumped 10 degrees! |

Ahhhh, the mobile picnic table!
Could we make a fortune designing car trailers that convert to
picnic tables...? |

As
the sun came out, the short sleeves started to appear. Really was
a nice day at the Festival. |

The Jones' Family 1930 "A"
loves the attention, but wishes it had more exercise! Ohhh, to be
closer to the Region again! |

Bull
Runners love to eat, talk and socialize. Meet Chair Leonard
Paquette begins to gather the Troops for a Show update. |

It was nice to see
Harry & Christine
Gibson and their '41 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Coupe!
|

Egads! What's them thangs
attackin me Model A? Go get'em Clem! |
