A short screwdriver, for use on the three screws which hold the magneto contact terminals in place, can be made from a discarded Ford valve. Heat the end of the valve stem, and pound down the end of the stem to a flattened, screw-driver blade. Finish with a file, or by grinding, and then temper. The head of the valve can be rounded off, to form a better handle. This screwdriver can be made short enough so that it can easily used under the coil box, and in other inaccessible places.
