Use of kerosene |
|
Let it not be forgotten that kerosene is one of the best agents obtainable for cleaning the metals parts of a car, as it cuts the grease even better than gasoline, and is not so likely to ignite if exposed to the flame of a blow torch or a carelessly handled match. It is best to dry the kerosene off the metal after it is clean, and this should be accomplished by a careful wiping with a cloth or bit of waste. |
