Alfalfa Festival |
|
Pictured above are Patty
and Walt Detjen. Walt was inducted into the Rural Olympics Hall of Fame. Walt
has entered the Rural Olympics for the past 41 years. He won the tractor and
sickle bar race 9 years straight and in 1972 set the record of 58.8 seconds, and
that record still holds today. Walt says he will be back next year at 80 years
old to try again. |
