DOG TAGS FOR KIDS
PROGRAM FOR OUR TROOPS IN IRAQ
Club Members,
This type of
response concerning the "Dog tags for Kids"
certainly makes me proud that our club is a part
of this effort. We may not always agree with
our leaders and why we are involved in these
other countries, but putting all that aside I
think we agree that if we can bring some comfort
to the children of our military personnel then
it makes our donations worthwhile. I
personally would like to thank everyone for your
interest and effort to support the “Dog tags for
kids” project.

From
Rose at lst Place Trophy:
We got two
certificates in the mail today along with this
letter of Appreciation.
1. Volunteers,
my name is Master Sergeant Randall S. Drumheller.
I am assigned as the MNC-1 JFC Targeting NCOIC
at Al Faw Palace in
Baghdad
Iraq. I have been in the military for almost 20
years now and I am the father of 4 daughters
ages 18, 16, 9 and 4. I was recently sent a
link to your web site and after visiting it I
ordered 755 dog tags for Moms and Dads for all
branches of service assigned here. These
Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Marines are
eternally grateful for the opportunity to send a
token of love to their sons and daughters back
home.
2. Your support
has allowed us to let our children know that
even while we love our jobs and defending our
country is our greatest honor that we love and
miss them very much. I have personally spent
many months and years away from my family
overseas and constantly attempt to show my love
and affection for my kids and this is one of the
greatest ways to demonstrate that love. I am
convinced that this small token that you have
helped provide is worth its weight in gold.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and God
Bless.
350,405 ….That
is how many DOG TAGS FOR KIDS have been
sent from Lancaster,
California to the troops in Iraq. Thanks to
your generous donations at our monthly meeting
in the 50/50 drawings contributed to this
number.

NEW TOTAL FOR
DOG TAGS SENT 308,172
Rose got a thank you e-mail from a spouse that
was entitled: My son's tag
I wanted to write this to you to say thank you
for sending the dog tags to my husbands unit in
Iraq.
He was able to come home for Christmas on his
R&R and he brought with him tags for each of our
children. Our 7 year old Christian was the one
who most needed something that would remind him
of Daddy everyday. He immediately put his new
tag onto the set of tags that his Daddy sent to
him the last time he was deployed. He is so
proud of the Love Dad tag and wears them to
school and everywhere. He says that this is his
most prized possession. Since he is the youngest
of our 4 (there is an 11 year gap between him
and his next sibling), it means a lot that he
has this to make him feel special. You are
providing a wonderful service. Thank you!
